As the song goes: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!”
The 61st Annual Uxbridge Santa Claus Parade is kicking off the start of the holiday season on Saturday, November 19th at 11 am. The route begins on Centre Road outside of the Uxbridge Arena, making its way through Brock Street before reaching its end destination at Nelkydd Lane.
Since 1961, Uxbridge Santa Claus Parade has been a much-loved and much-anticipated kick-off to the holidays, drawing out thousands of locals and visitors who come out for their first dose of the Christmas spirit every year on the 3rd Saturday of November.
Don’t forget to bring non-perishable food items to support the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank, your letters to Santa, and your spare change to support the Fire Department Boot Drive.
After the parade, start ticking off your Christmas shopping lists at one (or all!) of the awesome shops and boutiques across town. Don’t forget to grab a coffee and holiday treat to enjoy during the parade at one of our many cafes and eateries along the parade route, too!
It’s not too late to volunteer to be part of Santa’s crew and help make this year’s parade extra magical! Learn more at www.uxbridge.ca/parade
